Engineer, Recruiter & Career Architect

Built for serious engineers who want
a real move — not a maybe.

This isn't for fresh graduates or exploratory conversations. This is for mid-career engineers who are ready to act.

IC Design & Semiconductors

ASIC / RTL / VLSI / Physical Design Engineers

Canada's semiconductor sector is growing fast. Companies are struggling to hire locally. Your skills are exactly what they need — if you know how to position them correctly.

Software & AI / ML

Software Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists

Vancouver, Toronto, and Waterloo are drawing serious AI/ML talent. If you're building models, shipping code, or running data pipelines at scale — there's a market for you here.

Hardware & Robotics

Hardware, Embedded, Robotics Engineers

From space-tech to industrial automation, Canada's hardware sector needs experienced engineers. The shortage is real. The opportunity is now.

All STEM Disciplines

Electrical, Mechanical, Quantum, Clean-Tech, Data & Physics

If you have 5–20 years of experience in any STEM field and a serious intent to build your career in Canada, this program was designed for you.

Canada is not hard to enter.
It's hard to enter correctly.

Most engineers spend months applying to the wrong roles, on the wrong platforms, with the wrong resume — and hear nothing back.

📄

Your resume speaks the wrong language

Your resume is detailed and technical — but Canadian hiring managers scan for a different format, different keywords, different emphasis. Most candidates never find out why they're screened out in 6 seconds.

🗺️

You don't know who's actually hiring

Job boards show postings. They don't tell you which companies have urgent needs, which roles are about to close, or which recruiters are the right people to know. Insiders know. You don't — yet.

🛂

Immigration and career advice are siloed

Immigration consultants know visas. Recruiters know jobs. Nobody connects the two into a coherent strategy. You're left piecing it together from forums and Reddit threads.

🤝

You have no insider in Canada

The Canadian tech market runs on warm introductions and referrals. 70%+ of senior roles are filled through networks. Without someone who knows the landscape — and the people — you're starting from zero.

Why Canada? Why Now?

Canada isn't just hiring — it's actively competing for global engineering talent. Unlike other countries tightening immigration, Canada is opening doors. For experienced engineers, this is a rare window.

💰

$150K–$250K CAD salaries

Senior engineers in AI, semiconductors, and quantum computing command premium compensation with full benefits, stock options, and signing bonuses.

🌍

Immigrants are welcomed

Canada actively recruits skilled immigrants. 60%+ of tech workers in Vancouver and Toronto were born outside Canada. You won't be the outsider — you'll be the norm.

🏔️

World-class quality of life

Universal healthcare, safe cities, clean air, top-ranked schools. Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa — each offers a unique lifestyle with nature at your doorstep.

📈

Less competition, more opportunity

Canada's engineering talent shortage is real. Companies can't fill roles locally. Your 10+ years of experience instantly makes you a top candidate — not one of thousands.

🛡️

Stable economy & rule of law

Strong institutions, transparent governance, and a diversified economy. Your hard work is protected, your career investments compound, and your family thrives.

🚀

Path to permanent residency

Unlike many countries, Canada offers clear pathways from work permit to PR to citizenship. You're not a temporary worker — you're building a permanent future.

The Insider Angle.

For 25 years, I've been on both sides of the engineering career equation — as a technical leader across six industries, and now as the recruiter Canadian tech companies call when they need to fill their hardest roles.

That's the difference. I'm not just placing engineers — I've been one. I know what hiring managers actually look for, because I've sat in those meetings. I know which companies are hiring right now, which roles are genuinely hard to fill, and exactly how to position your profile to land on the right desk.

When you work with me, you get specific intelligence: target companies, role fit analysis, resume positioning for the Canadian market, and direct introductions where your profile matches. Not generic advice — real insider access.

I also navigate the immigration layer. I'm not an immigration consultant, but I know the pathways well enough to point you to the right immigration specialists and make sure you walk into that conversation already knowing which route fits your situation.

What engineers say about working with Dr. Roberts

Common questions

I'm not in Canada yet. Can you still help?
Absolutely — that's exactly who this is for. Most of my international clients are planning their move from abroad. We'll map your pathway whether you're in India, China, South America, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, or anywhere else. The session is via video call on Zoom or Google Meet.
What if I need more support after the Strategy Call?
Many clients start with the Strategy Call and then continue with the Canada Career Bridge — ongoing monthly coaching with 4 sessions/month, direct recruiter introductions, immigration consultant referrals, and continuous career, industry and Canadian context specific support until you get your Visa to Canada or receive a job offer. We'll discuss options at the end of your session.
Do you help with immigration directly?
I'm not an immigration consultant or lawyer. However, I work with a network of trusted, licensed immigration professionals who specialize in engineer pathways. In our session, I'll help you understand which route fits (Express Entry, LMIA, Global Talent Stream, PNP) so your conversation with an immigration advisor is productive from day one.
What's the typical salary for senior engineers in Canada?
Senior and Staff-level engineers in AI, semiconductors, quantum, and robotics earn $150K–$250K+ CAD in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. Some specialized roles command even higher. In our session, I'll give you specific ranges for your exact profile and target cities.
Will you connect me to actual job opportunities?
Yes. As an active engineering recruiter, I work directly with companies hiring in Canada. If your profile matches roles I'm filling, I introduce you directly. Even without an immediate match, I connect you to recruiters in my network who are actively hiring in your field.
Is $249 really worth it?
The difference between your current salary and a Canadian engineering salary could be $100K–$150K+ per year. A single strategic insight — which company to target, which visa pathway to use, how to reframe your resume — can save you months of wasted effort and thousands in immigration costs. One strategy call pays for itself many times over.

Your skills deserve a Canadian salary.
